VERMICOMPOSTING

We are working closely with students and faculty members on a number of committee's to institute a community-composting program that would generate revenue from selling the composted material back to local farmers for fertilization application. Not only would food services and community campus members dispose of biodegradable items, local grocery stores and the Monterey Bay Aquarium would have the opportunity to participate as while

If this wasn't enough we are engaged with the Associate Student Environmental Senator in the areas of; recycling, composting, green chemicals and reusable energy to educate, inform and change the buying habits of consumers in our campus community and heighten the awareness that one person does make the difference.
